I enjoying learning different techniques and skills in the arts and using them as a means to discover and express ones-self. Creating, for me, is a perpetual process of building a world in which to lose myself while simultaneously discovering a different truth with methodical and meaningful actions. Reality can be a hostile place, and by exploring it further as an interpreter and translator I can create an ever changing and growing space to share. I form emotions of a broken path that eventually evolve into a complete body of work. These paths and bridges are interlaced with inspiration from studies of anatomy, physiology, and the hues of Pittsburgh. When absorbing my surroundings I combine visual deterioration and restoration. Using color, composition, and various techniques I show the physical and manual process of creating.
